Residents of Ariella Private Estate and beyond came together to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights and the opening of the Ariella Conservation Park.

The free community event allowed residents, their family and friends to brighten up their Sunday. Perfect for the whole family, the event featured solar lights strung through trees, a henna station, 200 free ice cream and food truck meals, illuminated balloon arch, Bollywood performers, traditional music, Diwali craft stations, face painting and bubble blowing.

Over 600 event-goers attended, exploring Ariella and the new Conservation Park which features play areas, walking trails and reflexology paths. Children loved the new play and education areas, with interpretive signage throughout the park showcasing the various local native flora and fauna species.

The Ariella Conservation Park is located on Watervalley Boulevard, Brabham.
