Ariella residents can look forward to feeling even more connected with the upcoming Morley-Ellenbrook rail line project making progress; with its most significant milestone for the project to date.
The METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook line had a $700 million main construction contract awarded and signed by MELconnx Consortium. This is the largest rail project for METRONET with 21km spurring off the Midland Line at Bayswater Station, run down the middle of Tonkin Highway, up through land north of Marshall Road, along the western side of the new Lord Street and finish in Ellenbrook town centre.
Ariella residents will enjoy more choice and ease with transport when getting to Perth, the airport, and other stations on the Midland line.
Early works are already underway, including significant civil and structural works between Bayswater and Malaga to allow rail access in and out of the Tonkin Highway.
Trains are expected to be operational in late 2024.
