Meet Tony, the Estate Sales Manager at Bushmead!

SOL Blog Hero 1200x800 - Meet Tony, our new Estate Sales Manager at Solaris

We sat down with Bushmead's new Estate Sales Manager, Tony Buzzai to find out more about his role and favourite things around Bushmead.

What is your favourite thing about Bushmead?

Bushmead is a haven for nature lovers. Whether you're an avid bushwalker or you simply appreciate the serenity of green spaces, Bushmead offers both. The conservation areas and walking trails here are unmatched, and there are so many parks and playgrounds to explore with the family.

What is your go-to place to visit in the area?

It's hard to pick just one! Guildford and Midland are two of my favourite nearby spots. Guildford, with its charming heritage feel, offers great cafes and unique shops. Whereas, Midland is the go-to for everyday shopping essentials.

Do you have any tips for moving to the area?

Becoming familiar with your surroundings will make Bushmead feel like home in no time. Bushmead hosts a variety of events where you can meet your neighbours even before you move in, so make sure to get involved in these! Building these connections early can make your transition smoother and more enjoyable.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I have been involved in the property industry for about 30 years now and I love meeting people and families who are looking to buy or build their new dream home. It gives me a lot of satisfaction in helping them achieve this through their property journey.

Tell us a bit about your career in the property industry?

I started in the real estate industry about 30 years ago selling residential houses and some commercial properties.

I joined the Cedar Woods Properties team in 2004 and have been involved in selling land in a few projects such as Solaris Private Estate in Forrestdale and Harrisdale Green in Harrisdale.

The main project I have been looking after since 2006 is The Rivergums in Baldivis and now I am looking forward to dealing with Bushmead.

How long have you been with Cedar Woods?

20 years!

What are your hobbies outside of work?

  • Catching up with family and friends over lunch or dinner.
  • Going for walks along the beach and bush walks.
  • Watching comedy and theatre shows.

What are you most looking forward to at Bushmead?

I'm most excited about seeing how the community will grow and develop. Bushmead has so much potential, and I'm eager to help new residents discover what makes it unique. From the beautiful natural surroundings to the friendly neighbourhood vibe, it's a fantastic place to live, and I can't wait to be a part of its future.
