10am: Stand up paddle boarding

Take your stand-up paddleboard, kayak or canoe and launch from one of the retained slips leading into the harbour. One of the best ways to explore the area is by stand-up paddle boarding, an activity popular among locals and tourists alike. The waters around Fletcher’s Slip are ideal for paddling as they are calm and sheltered from the wind. There are also plenty of interesting sights to take in along your journey such as historic buildings, landscaped parks and breath-taking views!

12pm: Lunch

3pm: Retail shopping

Visiting Pirate Life Brewery is the perfect way to end a long day. This vibrant and cozy spot has something for everyone, from delicious craft beer options to an expansive wine list.

There’s also a tasty menu of pub food if you’re feeling peckish. The outdoor area is a great spot to sit and soak up some sunshine, or you can sit inside and enjoy the warm atmosphere.

6pm: Dinner

If you’re seeking a delicious restaurant experience close to home, head over the Birkenhead Bridge and into Port Adelaide. Carmine and Co is a traditional Italian fine dining restaurant that has been in the Port for over 50 years. Otherwise for a proper pub experience, head to your local, The Birkenhead Tavern.
