Local, scenic and packed full of choices, Pebble Creek Parklands is a go-to outdoor destination. Here, you’ll find off-leash dog areas for your furry friends, a large kick-about space, multi-purpose courts for games of netball and basketball, mountain bike tracks, picnic spots and more.

Flourish is set to have its very own park, with an opening date planned for Mid 2026. Spanning an impressive 5,000m², the park has been thoughtfully designed to cater to young families and growing minds. With a focus on ages 0–8, little ones will love the age-appropriate play equipment, soft fall surfaces and interactive features that inspire imaginative adventures. There’s a lot to look forward to with picnic-ready areas, shaded seating  and grassed spaces perfect for sports, fitness, or simply relaxing while the world goes by. A purpose-built cricket net and rebound wall add even more options for active play, while native planting and a vibrant splash of colour throughout the landscape will ensure it feels as fresh and inviting as the community it’s part of. 

Spaces for the kids  

If you’re looking for ways to help the kids run off some excess energy, these much-loved local playgrounds are just what you need. All are located within a short distance of Flourish and just minutes from Cornerstone Café, so you can sip on a coffee while the kids play.   

Flagstone Adventure Playground  

Eight minutes’ drive from Flourish  

As its name suggests, this playground is all about adventure. With an 11m high tower at its centre, kids can race down the flying fox and racing slides, climb the 19m skybridge, take on the giant octonet and so much more. There’s also a grassed area nearby for games of sport, as well as shaded picnic facilities for lunch.

Flagstone Water Play Park  

Eight minutes’ drive from Flourish  

Take a few steps from Flagstone Adventure Playground and make a splash at the Flagstone Water Play Park. A favourite in the summer months, this park features a 10m high treehouse, surrounded by a water course filled with blasters, cascades and jets.  

Flagstone Pirate Park  

Nine minutes’ drive from Flourish  

Ideal for younger children, the Flagstone Pirate Park has lots of features to keep little ones entertained. The park includes an 18m long two-level pirate ship with slides, climbing frames, treasure map, spyglass and small hammocks to rest in – after all, playtime gets tiring! 

Adventure destinations  

A little further afield from Flourish, you’ll find some fantastic destinations for weekend adventures. Lace up your hiking boots and pack up the car with lunch and your favourite snacks, with plenty to keep you entertained for hours.

White Rock Conservation Area  

A 35-minute drive from Flourish  

Hikers, rejoice! White Rock Conservation Area has you covered. With everything from quick 200m bushwalks through to challenging 19km day hikes, there’s something for every fitness level. You’ll also find a range of bike trails and horse riding trails here too.

Tamborine National Park  

Just over 30 minutes’ drive from Flourish  

The views at Tamborine National Park are something else. Sit and take in the scenery beyond the treetops towards the Pacific Ocean and Gold Coast skyline, then get ready to hit the trails. You’ll find bushwalks, peaceful waterfalls and the beautiful Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens to savour. If you get hungry, there are also some great dining options close by.
