The first apartment residents have started moving into their new homes. Among the first residents are Diego García-Bellido and Iballa Rodríguez, and their two children.

The new residents will see the residential community at Glenside grow to more than 200.

The six-storey Botanica incorporates 77 one, two and three-bedroom apartments including ground floor apartments with private courtyards, and upper-level apartments with uninterrupted views towards the city and the Adelaide Hills.

67 apartments at Botanica have sold with buyers including several families with school age children. Families have been attracted to Botanica because of its location in Adelaide’s leafy eastern suburbs, proximity to the city and good schools, and the quality of the design.

Demand for Botanica allowed construction to commence shortly after the project’s sales launch, with construction taking just 15 months to complete.

Mr Mark Pivovaroff, Cedar Woods (SA) Development Director said we’ve enjoyed welcoming the first apartment residents at Glenside.

“They will enjoy an enviable lifestyle at Botanica with spacious apartments boasting large balconies with views and high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout the building,” said Mr Pivovaroff.

“Residents will benefit from the community amenities at Glenside which are shaping up well with work completed on the community park adjacent to Botanica and civil works well underway on the development’s 15,000 square metre main reserve.”

Botanica is a 7-star NatHERs rated building incorporating smart water metering enabling residents to be charged only for the water they use, solar power generation for common areas, electric vehicle charging and award winning superfast 1GB per second speed fibre broadband.

Among the first residents are Diego García-Bellido and Iballa Rodríguez, and their two children. They purchased a top-floor three-bedroom apartment with sweeping views over the Adelaide Hills.

“We’ve been in Adelaide for seven years after moving here from Spain”, said Associate Professor García-Bellido.

“We’ve been renting an apartment in nearby Rose Park and love the area and having lived in apartments in Spain for many years enjoy the low-maintenance lifestyle that it affords.

“We’ve watched Glenside’s progress closely and have been impressed by its planning, housing design and the quality of construction within the development.

“This gave us the confidence to purchase at Glenside and we’ve been looking forward to owning our first home in Australia – moving in was a special moment for our family.”

Meanwhile, the popularity of apartment living at Glenside continues with the construction of Glenside’s second apartment building, Grace, ahead of schedule and due for completion in mid-2021.

Glenside will see the transformation of the 16-hectare site into a master-planned community with new homes and high quality landscaped public spaces as well as walking and cycling trails.
