Alan Meacock has been supporting buyers at Incontro of Subiaco from the very beginning. We sat down with Alan to find out more about his career and favourite things about Incontro.
How long have you been on the Incontro project?
I’ve been with the project since its inception in 2020. It’s been incredible to see how it has evolved and to be part of creating something special in Subiaco.
What is your favourite thing about Incontro of Subiaco?
I love Subiaco as a place to live. My very first home was in Subi, and it has always been such a connected suburb with fantastic amenities. Incontro really embodies that sense of community.
What is your go-to place to visit in the area?
Subiaco Common is my favourite spot. It’s a great space to relax, and I love how it links to all the restaurants and bars on Rokeby Road. You’ve got the best of both worlds—green spaces and lively dining.
Do you have any tips for moving to the area?
Subiaco is so well-connected that you don’t need a car every time you go out. Everything is within walking distance, from cafes and parks to shops and public transport.
What do you enjoy most about the work you do?
I get to meet and assist some wonderful people. It’s rewarding helping individuals to find a place that they can truly call home.
Tell us a bit about your career in the property industry.
I’ve been in the industry for over 30 years, working on a range of exciting projects for developers in both WA and Queensland. I’ve had the privilege to be involved in some remarkable developments, and Incontro is definitely one of them.
How long have you been with Cedar Woods?
I’ve been with Cedar Woods for over 5 years now, working in both Brisbane and Perth.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy keeping fit, whether it's swimming, playing hockey, or tennis. I also love catching up with friends and family whenever I get the chance.
What are you most looking forward to at Incontro of Subiaco?
I’m really excited to see the development continue to take shape within the Subi Centro Precinct. Watching Incontro grow into a thriving community is something I’m truly looking forward to.
