Choosing where to build a home is a big decision, and for Dan and Jess, Millars Landing was the perfect choice. We spoke with them about their journey to securing their dream block in this thriving community.
Tell us a bit about your journey joining the Millars Landing community – when did you purchase, and how did you find out about the estate?
Our journey to Millars Landing began with online research and visiting estates we were interested in. From the moment we explored Millars Landing, it stood out to us. The estate plans were exciting, and what really sold us was the larger land sizes available within our price range—something we hadn’t found in other estates we were considering.
The next step was visiting the sales office, where we had the pleasure of meeting Gerda, the sales manager. She was incredibly welcoming and provided us with lots of information about estate plans, blocks available and the land-buying process. We were fortunate that a few blocks were set to be released the very day we spoke with Gerda, so we seized the opportunity and reserved a block that matched what we were looking for.
Why did you choose to build your home in Millars Landing?
There were several key reasons we chose to build in Millars Landing.
First and foremost, the location was ideal for us. The estate is conveniently close to our families, public transport, shopping centers, and Kwinana Freeway. Plus, it’s around a 15-minute drive to the beach.
Another major draw was the family-sized blocks. They were much larger compared to those in other estates within our budget, which made Millars Landing even more appealing.
Additionally, the estate plans were well-designed, featuring a balanced mix of parkland and housing—something that really resonated with us.
What are you most looking forward to about living in Millars Landing?
We’re incredibly excited to become part of the growing community at Millars Landing. As this is our first home, we feel truly fortunate to have secured a block that ticks all the boxes for us. We’re especially looking forward to taking our dog, Baxter, on walks through the estate’s many parks, enjoying all the wonderful perks that come with owning a home. We can’t wait to start building and finally move in!
