Baldivis Sports Complex Project – Stage One of the Baldivis Sports Complex was completed in 2023, delivering a district level pavilion, multiple playing fields and an indoor recreation centre. The next stage will see the addition of another pavilion, eight outdoor netball and basketball courts, eight tennis courts and an outdoor recreation space, making it a sporting destination for all.
The $20.1 million facility has been crowned one of the best in Australia. It’s the perfect place to get involved in team sports and enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle.
Rockingham Foreshore – In August 2019, Stage One of the Rockingham Foreshore Revitalisation project was completed. It comprised three main areas: a new pedestrian-friendly shopping and eat street, a vibrant Beach Plaza, and a boardwalk for lazy coastal walks and a place to pause and and enjoy the stunning sunset views.
Further improvement works are schedule for the award-winning development, including a new accessible heritage-themed playground, park shelter and new toilet facilities. The new large nautical place space will pay homage to Rockingham’s history and the importance of its early timber industry, and will feature nature-based play, imaginative play, seating and a connected path network. It will be a great place to enjoy some weekend family fun.
