Written by Cedar Woods | Apr 28, 2026 11:00:04 PM

Nestled amongst the trees, life at Sage allows you to slow down and immerse yourself in nature.

A big part of this is enjoying all the natural beauty on your doorstep, including your local Sage Park and the 7.5ha environmental corridor that makes up the heart of the local community.

Another way you can make every moment of the outdoors is by actively learning more about their long-term health and preservation. Explore the range of local and national organisations below that can guide you on how to live harmoniously with the local flora and fauna:

Hunt Road Bushcare

Hunt Road Bushcare is a volunteer-based environmental group in partnership with council that undertake conservation work. It’s a great way to meet new people within the community, while taking part in activities such as:

  • Maintaining the local bushland
  • Removing weeds and other invasive plant species
  • Restoring native wildlife habitats
  • Wildlife spotting
  • Nestbox monitoring
  • Tree planting

The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 9-11am. To find out more about taking part in the Hunt Road Bushcare volunteer group, visit their Facebook page.
