First-time homebuyers Jenna and Alex Kennedy are reconnecting with their Moreton Bay roots by returning to the Burpengary region they grew up in and building their dream first home at Sage.
Jenna and Alex are some of the first residents to move in at Sage, along with their beloved dogs, Sophie and Freya.
“In June 2024, we started a new chapter of our lives when we moved into our dream home at Sage,” Jenna said.
“The thrill of being one of the first residents at the Sage community fills us with pride.”
Jenna says they were drawn to the peaceful location, nestled in the heart of the Moreton Bay Region, where they could become part of a growing community.
“We are big nature lovers and were immediately drawn to the beauty of Sage’s surrounds” she said. “Our new home has a beautiful outlook onto the ecological corridor. It was the last homesite in Stage 1, so we knew we had to move quickly.
The couple partnered with a local family-owned builder, Emerald Developments, to create their dream home at Sage.
“Even though our home wasn’t the first to commence construction, Emerald was extremely efficient, and we ended up being the first home completed at Sage.”
“It’s surreal standing in our new home, looking out into the ecological corridor, and knowing this is our home, and Sage is our community.”
“Sage is beautifully landscaped and it’s a joy taking the dogs for walks around the neighbourhood and really seeing the community come to life.”
Emerald Developments’ owner Matt Wall said it had been a rewarding journey, from start to finish, working with Jenna and Alex, and the team at Sage.
