Nestled in the heart of Williams Landing, Hudson Hub offers all the conveniences of the CBD without the hassle of commuting. Boasting a range of amenities and close proximity to the Williams Landing Town Centre, see what a typical day as an occupant of Hudson Hub could look like.
8am – Commute to Hudson Hub
Energised and ready to tackle the day, you leave home and begin your commute to Hudson Hub. Whether it’s a glorious sunny morning or pouring rain it’s a mere 5 minute journey. With your short commute you can stop off at The Jolly Miller Café along the way to pick up a coffee and a pastry. You enjoy the sights of the Williams Landing community slowly waking up around you, waving to the residents on their morning jog and the kids getting dropped off at school.
When you arrive at Hudson Hub you stop and chat with one of your colleagues who has cycled to work today before going your separate ways: they’re off to freshen up for the day in the end of trip facilities and you head up to your office.
9am – Starting the workday right
You start your workday by responding to client emails, making a few changes to the schedule for an upcoming event, and ensuring that the conference centre is ready to go for your brainstorming session in a few hours.
Your business has been enjoying a lot of success recently and you need a full-time general manager to help with your expansion, so you take advantage of the open workspace and NBN infrastructure to conduct virtual interviews with shortlisted candidates.
You finish up your morning by heading up to the rooftop terrace with your colleague to discuss the progress on some upcoming projects and prepare for your busy afternoon ahead. You find it is a great place to have catch up meetings with your team while enjoying some fresh air and sunshine!
12pm – Time for the big meeting
Today’s meeting is an important one, as two of your clients are merging so it’s all hands on deck for the initial kick-off meeting. You meet your clients in the lobby before heading up to join your team in the conference room on level 4. You make sure to prepare a tray of coffee and snacks for the team to enjoy.
The meeting is very productive, and everyone leaves in good spirits - with everyone getting along so well, you’ve already planned a team dinner for next Friday at Landing Point Restaurant which is just down the road from Hudson Hub!
As your clients leave, one of them makes a remark that if they lived in Williams Landing, they’d be able to get three times the work done as everything is so close by! You chuckle and wave them on their way, letting them know that Addison Walk has new residences now selling in case they fancy a move!
2pm – A late business lunch
One of your friends you’ve met from an adjacent business in Hudson Hub has given you a call regarding an exciting business opportunity, so you decide to meet at Mun Korean Kitchen for lunch.
The business opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time, as your own business is in the process of expansion. You feel overjoyed not only with the opportunity, but with the connections you’ve made since moving your business to Hudson Hub.
5pm – Out the door!
After a very successful and productive day everyone is out the door at 5pm, waving their goodbyes as they leave to start their evenings away from the office. Your team is made up of a lot of locals, who understand the importance of work-life balance and enjoy being able to make it home for family dinner.
You decided to have a lie in this morning, so you’re off to Zap Fitness gym to fit in a workout - or maybe a group exercise class - before grabbing some last-minute ingredients at Woolworths for tonight’s dinner. You and your partner take it in turns to cook now that you live so close to home, cooking is a fun nightly activity!
7pm– Home and ready to relax and unwind
It's finally time to go home, and you’re back home before it’s dark. You head home and make full use of the kitchen to prepare an old family favourite recipe – Mum’s infamous lasagne!
After dinner you stretch out on your sofa and call one of your friends from Geelong that you’ve been meaning to catch up with and make plans to go for a hike at the You Yangs, only 30 minutes away for the both of you!
You turn inside as you begin to wind down for bed and make a list for your day tomorrow. You’ve organised to meet a new tenant who has just moved into a nearby suite in Hudson Hub, and you’re already excited for future opportunities to collaborate
