With up to $35,000 in financial assistance on offer to eligible first-home buyers, there’s never been a better time to secure a place on the property ladder.
As one of the only apartment buildings in Melbourne’s west eligible for the government’s incentives, including both the First Home Owner Grant and the HomeBuilder Grant, Lincoln Apartments in Williams Landing are being snapped up by first-home buyers.
Being the fourth apartment building within the growing community, Lincoln Apartments offers 69 dwellings, spanning five levels. Designed by DKO Architecture, the homes feature generous light-filled spaces, ample storage, opulent living zones and exceptional indoor/outdoor integration, including private balconies, a spacious communal rooftop sky garden and a private resident’s gym.
With the financial assistance available, eligible first-home buyers could secure an apartment from just $315,000.
According to Cedar Woods state manager Lloyd Collins, the apartments are great for buyers looking to take advantage of the incentives available.
“With the financial support from the government, not to mention low interest rates, there is a real opportunity for buyers to get a good deal in the market right now,” says Collins.
“Apartments in Williams Landing provide an affordable entry point to buyers who may otherwise have been priced out of the suburb or the surrounding areas. This, coupled with the added incentives, means that people’s budget can go further than it has for many years.”
The locale is also a winner. In the heart of Williams Landing and just 20 kilometres
from Melbourne CBD, residents of Lincoln Apartments will have direct access to the architecturally designed Williams Landing Shopping Centre. Anchored by Woolworths and with 27 specialty stores, the centre also has a premium childcare facility.
“Williams Landing is a popular spot in the western suburbs – with great parks, cafés, restaurants, retail, transport and more. The last few months have shown that having walkable access to amenities and open green space is more important than ever,” adds Collins.
Residents will enjoy the future park situated opposite Lincoln Apartments and sporting reserves, as well as a licensed Eat Street dining precinct, all right on their doorstep.
The HomeBuilder Grant is due to end on December 31. Secure a spot now before it’s too late.
