Cedar Woods, in partnership with Creating Communities invests heavily to foster a sense of community at Bushmead. Through organising local events, street parties to get to know your neighbours, tree planting days and educational workshops, we have helped build the tight-knit Bushmead community.
Bushmead’s very own conservation group who are dedicated to maintaining the 185ha of natural bushland that surrounds the homes at Bushmead.
This group of passionate residents host regular clean-up days, wildflower walks and information sessions for residents to get involved in.

Every Saturday the Kadina 5KM Park Run happens at Bushmead. Join in for a fun morning walk or run catering to all ages and fitness levels. Local coffee van He Brew Espresso visits Bushmead every Saturday so you can enjoy a post-run coffee with your community.

Each year Bushmead supports organisations and initiatives within the community through the Cedar Woods Community Grants Program.
The 2022 grants have recently been awarded to the Bushmead Conservation Cobbers, the Kalamunda Lapidary Club, Studio 88 – Pilates In The Park At Bushmead.
The Bushmead community will be informed when the next round of Community Grants applications open.
