"We love that our community is only a few minutes away from our kids’ school, and it’s a close-knit community with a lot of other families that our kids know. It’s also easy for us to commute into the city, with the upcoming infrastructure upgrades planned for the area."

Dinesh and his wife Madu, both working professionals with three young children, have embraced their connection to nature and community, purchasing a second homesite at Ellendale by Cedar Woods to accommodate their growing family’s needs.
Reflecting on their experience, Dinesh shared, “We purchased our first home at Ellendale in 2018, and we really wanted to upgrade our home but stay close to our kids’ school.”
“We love that Ellendale is surrounded by nature while still being close to the city, and local shops and amenities. Ellendale is also just minutes away from great schools for our three girls, who are 2, 8, and 10 years old,” Dinesh said.
After years of being surrounded by nature at Ellendale including the adjacent South D’Aguilar National Park, the family had dreams of expanding their outdoor lifestyle. “We were finding that we’ve outgrown our first home in Ellendale and wanted a bit more backyard space for the kids to run around in, and to install a pool. With our girls growing up, they need a bit more room to be kids.”
Dinesh said the positive purchasing experience with Cedar Woods had made a real difference when deciding to purchase a second home within the community. “We’ve worked with several people from the Cedar Woods and Ellendale team and they all have been great to work with. The ongoing communication from the team has been fantastic and they are always very helpful,” Dinesh said.
For Dinesh and his family, the most rewarding part of their new home is the opportunity to give their children the best life possible, away from screens and immersed in nature.
“Having more space in and out of the home means they can spend more time outdoors and playing rather than being online. We want them to grow up with memories of playing together in the backyard, and if we can build that into them now, we’re hopeful that they’ll carry that with them into their adult lives.”
