Introducing Umarkoo Primary School Formerly Wollert Andrews Road Primary School (interim name)

Umarkoo (pronounced u-mah-koo) is a word from the Wurundjeri Woi wurrung language, meaning “everyone.”

This name reflects a strong sense of inclusivity and community values that will help shape the next generation of learners in Wollert.

When it opens in Term 1, 2026, the school will proudly serve families in the area and will feature an administration and library building with dedicated spaces for art, science and food technology, two learning neighbourhoods, hard courts, a sports field, and a community hub building.

Enrolments for 2026 are open

The school is open for enrolments for students in Foundation (Prep) to Grade 6.

You can find out if you’re in the school zone by entering your address at findmyschool.vic.gov.au (select 2026 as the enrolment year).
