Meet Gerda, the Estate Sales Manager at Millars Landing!

We sat down with Millars Landing's new Estate Sales Manager, Gerda De Lange to find out more about her role and favourite things around Baldivis. 

What is your favourite thing about Millars Landing? 

My favourite thing would have to be Steamrail Adventure Park. It's the perfect spot for the whole family, with a turf area, large playground, and BBQ facilities. The walking trails are also great for leisurely strolls and feature carved wooden artworks by local Baldivis artists, which is a lovely addition. 

The location of Millars Landing is also fantastic, with easy access to the freeway and nearby transport hubs. The estate is just minutes from Baldivis and neighboring areas such as Wellard and Rockingham so it really caters for everyone.

What is your go-to place to visit in the area? 

King Road Brewery, located on Mundijong Road, is just a few minutes away from the estate. It offers great food and specialty brewed beers in a safe, family-friendly environment with a playground for children. Another favourite spot is the renovated Rockingham Foreshore, where you can enjoy a visit to the beach and vibrant coastal atmosphere.

Do you have any tips for moving to the area? 

I encourage residents to become part of the local community. Baldivis is a great area, close to a range of facilities and very well connected. Millars Landing is a great location for families, providing the opportunity to enjoy a great lifestyle with everything you need close by.

What do you enjoy about the work you do? 

The thing I enjoy the most is having the opportunity to help first home buyers achieve their goals and dreams of owning their own home. I enjoy providing my clients with helpful advice and guidance every step of the way to ensure they understand all aspects of purchasing land. It's wonderful to interact with a diverse group of people and see communities form from the ground up through building connections with individuals and families. 

Tell us a bit about your career in the property industry? 

I started out in real estate in 2006, working on a range of projects including gated lifestyle comunities in Mandurah and Baldivis. I've been with Cedar Woods, working as an Estate Sales Manager, since 2016.

How long have you been with Cedar Woods? 

I've been part of the Cedar Woods team since 2016, working on projects such as Emerald Park, Harrisdale Green, and Bushmead.

What are your hobbies outside of work? 

I enjoy hiking and walking - both wonderful ways to connect with family and friends or meet new people with similar interests. Catching up with family and friends are also very important!

What are you most looking forward to at Millars Landing?

As a Baldivis local, I am looking forward to seeing the community continue to grow and sharing the many benefits of living in the area with residents!
