A year in review at The Rivergums

A year in review

It’s been another big year at The Rivergums – here’s a recap of all of our key moments!

1. We gave back to our amazing Baldivis community with our Neighbourhood Grants Program

We understand the important role that community groups play in building strong connected neighbourhoods. That’s why we have our Neighbourhood Grants Program to provide funds for community groups and not-for-profit programs for worthy initiatives.

This year we provided grants to the Baldivis Little Athletics Centre and the CWA (Country Women’s Association) Baldivis Belles. Rivergums’ residents can join the Baldivis Belles for free thanks to our Neighbourhood Grants Program.

We’ll continue to keep investing in the future of the Baldivis community.

2. We got to see you having fun with our #RivergumsAdventure photo competition

We offered weekly prizes in our #RivergumsAdventure photo competition. This competition encouraged everyone to explore the many adventure spots at The Rivergums, including:

  • The ‘Monsters’ World’ Adventure Playground,
  • the basketball hoops, and
  • the two expansive lakes.

3. We got to see the completion of the Rockingham Foreshore Revitalisation Project

Stage one of the $15.75 million Rockingham Beach Foreshore Revitalisation Project was completed in September.

This stage focused on creating a vibrant, dynamic and fun precinct linking Churchill Park, Bell Park, Rockingham Beach and local eateries in the area. It included the construction of a grassed amphitheatre facing the beach, a lookout and an expanded boardwalk with terracing to the beach.
The Rivergums is just 15 minutes from the Rockingham Beach foreshore.

4. We welcomed new residents!

More and more people are choosing to call The Rivergums home. And why wouldn’t they? The Rivergums in Baldivis is perfectly located near parks, schools and shops. It’s also well connected to Rockingham and has easy access to the Kwinana Freeway. There’s plenty of space here for you and your family to grow.

2019 saw many people enjoy what The Rivergums has to offer. It will all be here for you again in the new year, so watch this space!

And if you haven’t already, you should also take the opportunity to visit The Rivergums. Land currently starts at just $125,000* and house and land packages start from $293,478*.

If you’re currently renting, you’ll likely find that buying your own home is a lot more affordable than you think. We can help you to escape the rent trap. It’s a great time to buy real estate with interest rates currently at record lows in Australia. And if you’re a first home buyer, you might be eligible for the First Home Owner Grant of $10,000 and no government stamp duty on your purchase, saving you thousands of dollars!

Contact us if you’d like to find out more! We’d be happy to answer any questions that you may have. We’d love to hear from you!
