The third stage from Cedar Woods’ Solaris community in Forrestdale has been brought forward after great success of the first two stages, with over 800 registrations of interest received on the 300-lot estate.
Launching to market in March last year, the 29-hectare estate surrounded by Bush Forever is set to welcome its first families into the community this year. The new release of blocks are available from just $220,000*, and range in size from 305m2 to 550m2.
Proving popular with local first home buyers from the Canning Vale and Harrisdale areas, sales have been supported by government stimulus, catapulting Solaris through its development programme.
Contributing to 82% of the estates sales, first homebuyers and upgraders (17%) are the driving force behind this sales surge, enticed by the Solaris nature and amenity.
Estate Sales Manager, Anna-Maria Pilling says she is thrilled with the initial success of Solaris, with signs of an incredibly engaged and connected community blossoming.
“The early success of Solaris has certainly been encouraging. With early signs of interest, we can expect this release to get snapped up quickly,” she said.
“Fostering a tightknit community is at the core of the Solaris vision and is something we will continue to develop, especially with the estates first park opening this Spring. This new park will provide a great opportunity to bring the community together.”
Cedar Woods is committed to revitalising the Forrestdale area by building a vibrant, close-knit community for its residents. Recently, Solaris hosted a purchaser event, where future residents were invited to meet and mingle with their soon-to-be neighbours and explore their new community.
Once built, almost 50% of Solaris homes will be facing open spaces including pocket parks and natural bushland, promising a new life nestled amongst nature. One of Solaris’ first residents John Macaldo said he finds this incredibly valuable.
“I like to get outdoors and explore, so having Solaris surround by a nature reserve is amazing. Cedar Woods has been a huge support, they’ve been really great at communication, keeping me updated on all the progress going on around the community,” he said.
Further engaging the local community, Solaris hosted a competition for local kids to create bright and colourful ‘sold’ stickers as well as sponsoring the local football club, the Forrestdale Falcons.
