Delivering the Vision: How Cedar Woods is Shaping Queensland Communities

At Cedar Woods, our commitment to delivering considered, connected communities is at the heart of every development. Nowhere is this more evident than in Queensland, where our growing portfolio reflects our national vision: to create sustainable, nature-integrated communities that deliver long-term value to residents and the broader region.

Since entering the Queensland market in 2016, we have strategically expanded our presence across South East Queensland with four active developments: Ellendale in Upper Kedron, Greville in Wooloowin, Flourish in South Maclean, and Sage in Burpengary. Together, these communities span more than 300 hectares and are projected to deliver over 2,400 homesites across land lots, townhomes, and apartments.

Each Queensland development is guided by Cedar Woods' core values, fostering community connection and thinking of tomorrow. From the foothills of Brisbane’s northwest to the outer growth corridors of Logan and Moreton Bay, our developments are carefully designed in response to population trends, infrastructure investment, and evolving lifestyle needs.

Key to this approach is our dedication to green space. Across the portfolio, more than 30% of each community is preserved as open space, environmental corridors, native vegetation zones, and public parks. At Ellendale, over 40% of the site is retained as conservation land and recreational areas, while Greville features a 4,000sqm park just five kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Sage and Flourish similarly integrate extensive green corridors, creating spaces that promote health, biodiversity, and local connection.

The diversity of product across these developments ensures we meet the needs of a broad demographic. From elevated, bespoke homesites at Ellendale to the inner-city townhomes and apartments at Greville, our Queensland communities support a variety of lifestyles, including first-home buyers, families, and downsizers.

We also recognise the importance of affordability. Flourish and Sage have delivered competitively priced housing solutions in high-growth corridors, projects that balance value with amenity, connectivity, and long-term liveability.

As Queensland continues to experience sustained population and infrastructure growth, Cedar Woods is well positioned to deliver enduring communities that respond to the region’s future. More than 850 families already call a Cedar Woods Queensland development home, and as we look ahead, our focus remains on enhancing the lives of residents by creating places designed for people, today and tomorrow.
