Slab Parties are a Bushmead Tradition

BUSH_Slab Party Blog_0623

Did you know the Bushmead community have the opportunity to host a Slab, Slab Slab Party? To celebrate this exciting milestone, Cedar Woods contribute a slab of soft drink and a slab of sausages to your Bushmead Slab Party.

Why we do it?

We’ve heard that Bushmead purchasers are interested in fostering a strong, tight-knit community. The Slab, Slab, Slab initiative is supporting you to meet your neighbours, celebrate the start of your construction journey with your family and friends, and contribute to the creation of the ‘small country town’ vibe of Bushmead.

Who do I invite?

The rest of your future street, the whole of your stage, or even the broader Bushmead community –  it’s up to you! You’re also more than welcome to invite your friends and family to help you celebrate.

What support do I get?

This is primarily a resident-led initiative, but we’re here to make it as easy as possible. You’ll have support from the Creating Communities team to send out invites and organise event logistics. And of course Cedar Woods will pay for the slab of sausages and soft drinks!

How do I get involved?

When you have an indication  of when your slab is going down,  get in contact with Creating Communities via  bushmead@creatingcommunities.com.au
