Finding the right place to build a home is an exciting journey, and for Monique and Dylan, Millars Landing was the perfect fit. We spoke to them about their decision and what they’re most looking forward to in their new community.
Tell us a bit about your journey joining the Millars Landing community – when did you purchase, and how did you find out about the estate?
We purchased our block in August 2024 after our home consultant introduced us to the estate. We explored several options in different areas, but after visiting them all, Millars Landing stood out as the perfect fit for us.
Why did you choose to build your home in Millars Landing?
From our first visit to Millars Landing in August, we loved everything the community had to offer, and it continues to impress us with developments like the Steamrail Adventure Park and the future school. We look forward to enjoying this next chapter together as a couple and eventually raising a family in this beautiful estate.
What are you most looking forward to about living in Millars Landing?
We are most excited about becoming part of the Millars Landing community. During our visits, we've had great conversations with other couples at Steamrail Adventure Park, and it’s been wonderful to see all the community events happening here, like walking groups, yoga in the park, kids' playdates, and twilight fun on the green. We can’t wait to fully immerse ourselves in the community once we move into our new home.
For us it was really important that our house is in the close vicinity of a primary school for our future child/ children. So, we are looking forward to seeing all the future developments in Millars Landing such as the future primary school that is planned for the estate.
Lastly, location is super important for us. Dylan has his close family that live down south and I have family that live in Perth, so it was essential that we live somewhere between the two. We are also lucky to have the benefit of the freeway being so close to the estate meaning we can travel to and from work with ease.
