Construction Progress
We’re pleased to share that construction is well underway in the next stages of Sage. As of December 2025:
- Land clearing is now complete for the next Sage precinct
- Fill material is in place and ready for development
- Earthworks (cut and fill) and sewer infrastructure are actively progressing in Stages 4 and 5
Coming up next:
- Stormwater drainage and water articulation installations
- Roadworks to connect new homes to the community network
Look ahead for Sage
Several key milestones in the next year will bring the next stages to life:
- Asphalt installation across new streets
- Streetlights and fencing to frame the neighbourhood
- Landscaping works that soften streetscapes and tie into the natural surrounds

Hunt Road Upgrade
Outside the Sage community, work has also been progressing on Hunt Road West:
- Electrical upgrades and underground infrastructure relocation are now complete
- In 2026, we’ll begin:
- Widening Hunt Road
- Adding walking and cycling paths
- Constructing a new roundabout to improve access and traffic flow
These infrastructure improvements will benefit Sage residents and the wider Burpengary community, supporting safer, easier travel and connectivity.
