At Cedar Woods, creating places where families flourish is more than just a vision—it’s a commitment. That’s why the latest educational developments at Mason Quarter in Wollert mark such an important milestone in this community’s story.

Building the foundations for the future

Construction is now underway for the Victorian Government’s Wollert Andrews Road Primary School (interim name) and a state-of-the-art early learning and childcare centre. Set to open Term 1 in 2026, these facilities will cater to up to 655 children, supporting families from their child’s very first steps into learning through to primary years.

The primary school, under the guidance of Principal Leanne Tingwell, will feature modern learning spaces, a library and community hub, and facilities for art, science, food technology, and sports—offering a truly holistic educational experience. Meanwhile, the early learning centre, operated by Early Learning Victoria, will provide long daycare and kinder programs, along with maternal and child health services.

Adding even more vibrancy to the precinct, Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten will soon begin construction on a privately-run facility to serve the growing demand for early childhood education.

Education - The heart of a thriving community

Mason Quarter’s integrated education precinct goes far beyond convenience. Schools are powerful community-building assets—they support local jobs, small businesses, and help weave the social fabric that connects neighbours and families.

Research shows that the early years of education are crucial for a child’s emotional, cognitive, and social development. By placing high-quality educational infrastructure at the centre of its planning, Mason Quarter ensures that every child has the opportunity to thrive close to home.

Smarter, greener living

Having schools and childcare centres within walking or cycling distance isn’t just convenient it supports a more sustainable lifestyle. Parents save time on drop-offs, reduce car trips, and enjoy healthier routines, all while helping to reduce congestion and environmental impact.

As Principal Tingwell puts it, “Wollert Andrews Road Primary School will be a game-changer for local families.”

Boosting property value and community pride

Living near quality schools is a top priority for many families and it shows in the numbers. Properties close to well-rated schools consistently outperform surrounding suburbs, delivering long-term growth and investment confidence.

But it’s not just about the numbers. Schools are permanent pillars of a neighbourhood, offering consistency, connection, and a shared sense of purpose. They’re where communities grow and that’s what makes them invaluable.

A future-focused vision

Mason Quarter is leading the way in creating a community where education, lifestyle, and sustainability go hand in hand. Whether you’re raising a family or investing in your future, the integration of educational facilities at Mason Quarter offers both peace of mind and long-term value.
