580 trees were planted before morning tea in the section north of the Kadina bridge, and 320 in the second session in the section South of the Kadina bridge. A number of attendees who came along had purchased a block at Bushmead but hadn't moved in yet so was great to see how much they enjoyed getting involved in the community and helping us achieve our environmental objectives.
The residents and purchasers really enjoyed the morning and were grateful for the opportunity to get to know their neighbours. Roy Whittkuhn from Tranen Revegetation Systems did a fantastic job of educating everyone along the way on why and how their efforts will impact the environment and future generations to come.
