The Future is bright at Solaris Private Estate!

On Saturday 5^th September 2020, Solaris welcomed it’s first purchasers with a Welcome Breakfast, where they were able to meet their soon-to-be neighbours, take the first steps on their future home site and place a sold sticker on their lot.

The morning commenced with a group activity that encouraged the residents to gather with other residents who have purchased on the same street as them. From there the walking tours commenced; residents were lead on a tour around the estate with commentary from Preston O’Keefe, Senior Development Manager, about the future plans for Solaris Private Estate and urged residents to ask questions.

After the walking tour residents were able to place a sold sticker on their lot, stand on their block for the very first time and look next to them and see their new neighbours. As these purchasers bought off-the-plan it was also the first time for many seeing the estate since it opened to the public in July – it was a very special moment for many.

The Solaris community kicked off to a great start as many of the residents had natural connections with each other. We even had residents taking photos with one another on their blocks, excited that they have some great new neighbours!

A community board was introduced during the event, encouraging residents to write down their dreams, aspirations for the Solaris community and estate and how they picture the Solaris community to evolve. They attached these dream cards to Polaroid photographs of themselves and other residents. This community board will be placed in the Solaris sales office for the residents to look back on. There were some common themes among the dream cards:

• Residents would love to partake in monthly community activities such as a street barbeque.
• They hope to create a harmonious community where everyone feels accepted and safe.
• Solaris Private Estate is a place where neighbours are going to become great friends.
• Everyone is excited to see Solaris evolve into an established estate.

The future for the Solaris community is looking very bright with so many eager residents wanting to make a difference and connect with their community. The Solaris Welcome Breakfast was a success with many happy faces leaving the site and eager to start their building journey and soon call Solaris home.
