115 year anniversary of the Poison Gully train crash

August 1st 2019 marked the 115th anniversary of the Poison Gully railway accident.

Kadina parkrun launches at Bushmead

Almost 250 people turned out for the official launch of the Kadina Trail parkrun at Bushmead on Saturday, October 26, 2019. The Bushmead community came together to launch this initiative with one resident spearheading the program and a number of other residents volunteering on the day.

Nature play WA app launch event

It was great to see approximately 100 Bushmead residents, local community members and families from Helena Valley Primary School come together to celebrate the launch of Bushmead’s nature trails and interactive digital app.

Resident Clean Up Day

To celebrate Clean Up Australia Day on Saturday 9th March 2019, half a dozen residents, and a number of their little helpers including a 2 year old, and two young teenage boys (one who actually turned 13 on the day!) came together to do their bit for the environment.
