To celebrate Bushmead’s recent 500,000th tree milestone, Nature Play WA has partnered with Cedar Woods to develop a new Nature Animal Detective Trail around Archerfield Park.
On Saturday 28th August 2021, the Bushmead community celebrated a major milestone with the planting of the 500,000th tree, at an official ceremony at the Cedar Woods estate.
Cedar Woods and Creating Communities hosted our most recent purchasers in Stage 5 for a wine and cheese night in the Bushmead Sales Office. This was a great opportunity for everyone to meet their neighbours so when they move into their new homes they already have friends waiting for them.
Presenters from local nursery Trillion Trees presented to a group of Bushmead residents walking them through how to create gardens which are waterwise, habitat creating, cooling and appropriate for local climate and soil.
Last Sunday 7th March 2021, 40 Bushmead residents came together to clean up their community for Clean up Australia Day.
On Sunday November 15th, we hosted an event at the newest park at Bushmead, Archerfield Park. After the first event was postponed due to bad weather Bushmead residents were excited to finally celebrate their newest park with a fun afternoon outdoors.

580 trees were planted before morning tea in the section north of the Kadina bridge, and 320 in the second session in the section South of the Kadina bridge. A number of attendees who came along had purchased a block at Bushmead but hadn't moved in yet so was great to see how much they enjoyed...
